If you manage to break yourself away from New Pokémon Snap, there’s a lot of games to look forward to coming to the Nintendo Switch in May!
When I first saw the 1930s styled cartoony key art for Reknum Cheri Dreamland, I was interested immediately. It turns out that aesthetic doesn’t necessarily fit the whole game through. Still, this is a fun little 2D platformer with a few weird issues.
Moon Raider is a fast-paced, 2D, action platformer. The story is questionable but the gameplay is pretty dang fun, but a few issues leave the full package feeling just a bit janky.
Smelter is a 16-bit throwback top-down strategy twin-stick shooter and also a side-scrolling action-platformer where you play as Eve wearing living, sentient, under-boob revealing battle armor on a quest to rescue Adam after the collapse of the Garden of Eden.
There are so many great Indie games on the Switch, and so many more coming soon… This presentation didn’t even touch on a bunch of the others we are expecting!
