Whether you want to read 900 pages worth of Spider-Man, befriend a boozy dragon, or knit your favorite Harry Potter swag, we've got something for everyone in the books we're reading in February 2020! Here are our five favorite books to check out this month!
Harry Potter: Knitting Magic
Author: Tanis Gray
Release Date: January 28, 2020
Price: $29.99
Ever wanted to make your own Weasley Christmas sweater? Yeah, you have! Although technically releasing at the very end of January (but who's counting, right?), this is an official knitting guide book to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. And in case you buy the book and find out knitting isn't your thing, there's still behind-the-scenes goodies and costume concepts from the films. You can typically find the book on Amazon at a discounted price right here.
Saint X
Author: Alexis Schaitkin
Release Date: February 18, 2020
Price: $26.99
The hype for this debut novel from Alexis Schaitkin is crazy high, and we're crazy excited to read it when it releases later this month. Set on a fictional Caribbean island, this thriller promises to be both an entertaining read and an examination of race and privilege. If you're looking to get an early start on summer beach reads, this might be the perfect place to begin. The book is up for preorder on Amazon right here.
Highfire
Author: Eoin Coifer
Release Date: January 28, 2020
Price: $19.99
Yes, this is another book from late January that made the list, but we had to include it! It's about a dragon who loves vodka and lives in a Louisiana bayou! What's not to love? And if you recognize the name of the Artemis Fowl author, and maybe think this is a YA novel, think again. The target audience is definitely adults. This novel, though admittedly whimsical, is also full of profanity and vulgar humor. No spoilers here, but you might want to read it first before letting the kiddos look it over. The Lost Future of Pepperharrow
Author: Natasha Pulley
Release Date: February 18, 2020
Price: $27.00
The sequel to The Watchmaker of Filigree Street is set to release later this month. The first book was a fun, entertaining read that mixed humor with mystery and thrills, and the follow-up looks equally excellent. If you haven't read the first book yet, then you can follow this link. Once again, the setting is Victorian London and Japan, and the sequel promises familiar characters and unexpected twists. If you love historical fiction and steampunk novels, then definitely check out this series. And you can buy the sequel right here.
Spider-Man: Miles Morales Omnibus
Author: Brian Michael Bendis, Sara Pichelli, Nico Leon, and others.

Whether you're a longtime fan of Miles Morales, or you just discovered he existed by watching Into the Spider-Verse, this omnibus is definitely worth checking out.
