In This Episode:
We discuss impulse buys both good and bad along with how they’ve changed for us over time.
We tend to buy impulsively in different ways. For Beej, it’s AAA games, and he tends to regret them. Void, on the other hand, gets a lot of enjoyment out of being in that initial wave of sales and being able to talk, so even when he impulse buys something, he can get his money’s worth out of it even if he stops playing it soon.
We both feel as though our houses are impulse buys, which is kind of crazy when you think about it…because they’re houses.
We just have a really good discussion about all sorts of awesome stuff and the workings of our brainyparts. And you know that you want to dig in there with us.
In this week’s geekery Beej talks more about his MCU rewatch and got to play his first game of Settlers of Catan. Void impulse bought a bunch of board games to play with his kids and has been reading Skyward by Brandon Sanderson and Final Fantasy Lost Stranger.
