Throughout our Spring Fever Party we are taking a closer look into the inner workings of our creators. That means… Question and Answer posts!! Get to know these amazing individuals (and groups) a little better. See who you would want having your back during the zombie apocalypse. Today’s Q&A comes to us from the amazing Todd Sullivan AKA Aron1701!
1. Who are you? What do you do for Geek to Geek?
I’m Todd and I’m a host on Nerdberg Review and Cautious Optimism
2. How did you start writing/podcasting/streaming?
I’ve been writing since I was a child. And thanks to the internet I can publish a lot of my work whether anyone wants me to or not. I used to write and draw a webcomic called Gadgethovel and started podcasting as a sort of spin-off of that.
3. How did you become affiliated with Geek to Geek?
My sister, Elinzia, started telling me about their podcasts and community years ago.
4. Why would you consider yourself a geek?
I always thought of myself as a Nerd growing up. But for whatever reason Geek has become the accepted name for people like me, so yeah I’m a geek.
5. Who is your favorite superhero?
Spiderman. He’s a good kid, trying to do the right thing. I like that. And his superpowers are neat.
6. What skills do you have to survive the zombie apocalypse?
None. I’ll let them eat me to give my friends time to escape.
7. What is your favorite type of geekery? (movies, tabletop games, video games, books)
Video Games probably.
8. How did you get into that?
We got a Nintendo when I was a kid and I’ve been hooked ever since.
9. How many square feet of pizza can you eat?
All of them
10.What is your favorite form of exercise? How will that help with the zombies in question 6?
Walks. Most of the time Zombies are slow, I can probably walk slightly faster than them. Unless they’re fast Zombies, then I’m toast.

12.Star Wars or Star Trek?
Star Trek if I have to chose but I love them both.
13.Favorite board/card game?
Really love Ravine right now.
14.Super Mario Bros or Zelda?
Super Mario Bros if I have to choose but I love them both.
15.Which 3 Geek to Geek members would you want on your team in the zombie apocalypse? Why?
- Kels. She has a gun
- BamaShockz. Also has a gun
- Void. I think Void would devise a good strategy that may or may not include sacrificing me while the rest run away.
(Side note from Elinzia as I enter in this post… I’d just like to go on record pointing out that Todd, MY OWN BROTHER, does not want ME on his zombie apocalypse team)
16.What is the most embarrassing fashion fad you have ever rocked?
I tried to wear baseball caps in High School.
17.If aliens asked you to go with them… would you?
Of course. Have you seen what’s happening to Earth? So long, suckers!
18.If you could be any character in a video or tabletop game… who would you want to be?
Most characters don’t actually have enviable lives. They’re usually fighting for their survival. But I suppose being the protagonist of Stardew Valley would be a nice life.
19.Favorite Disney movie?
That one animated Robin Hood movie where a fox was Robin Hood. But only because picking a Star Wars or Marvel movie seemed like cheating, I mean Disney owns them but they aren’t really DISNEY movies right?
20.What fruit or vegetable would you prefer for throwing at zombies?
Watermelons. They’re big, seems like they could knock a zombie down.
21.What was the last TV show you binge-watched?
GadgetMan with Richard Ayoade
22.If you could be invisible for a day, what would you do?
The same as normal but without being pestered by people.
23.What is your favorite snack food?
24.Name one cool feature you would add to your dream house if you could
25.What is the most random, rare form of geekery you love?
I don’t know that any of my geekerys are all that rare or random. *shrug*
Is there anything else you’d like to add, Todd?
If anyone ever tells you that you are “wasting time” on your geekeries ask them if they have any hobbies. If they have anything they’re passionate about then we’re the same. And if they don’t have any hobbies explain to them that’s not actually healthy and THEY’RE the one with the problem.
Where can people find you?
On Twitter as Aron1701, and on my podcasts, The Nerdberg Review and As The Dice Roll
